The Maritime Liaison Unit - Pacific (MARLU PAC) facilitates the exchange of information between the United States Navy, Regional Maritime Forces, and the commercial maritime community in Asia and the Pacific. Our liaison officers travel regularly throughout Asia and Oceania to foster communication, stay apprised of shipping industry perspectives on the challenges and threats to maritime commerce, and promote shipping industry awareness of U.S. Navy initiatives in the region in support of maritime safety and security.
